I've been impressed with the ExploreHorizon HG-300. For a home gym under $350, it packs a lot of functionality. The steel and chrome frame feels solid, and the 300 lb capacity is generous for most home users. I appreciate the multiple stations - the lat pull down and rowing attachments are particularly smooth. Assembly took a couple of hours but the instructions were clear enough. My main complaint is that the seat adjustment mechanism feels a bit plasticky, which makes me wonder about long-term durability. Also, the leg extension pad could be more padded. That said, for the price and range of exercises, this is a great value machine that covers most strength training needs without hogging space.
